We have initiated a global "meta-analysis" effort in which we hope to identify common metabolites and pathways across a heterogeneous population of biological specimens over a wide spectrum of phenotypic conditions. Some of the largest laboratories in the world are currently participating in this effort. Preliminary screening of hundreds of gigabytes of data for this purpose has revealed intriguing correlations. We recognize many of the experimental data analyzed with XCMS Online is limited by proprietary mandates and intellectual property restrictions. We highly value your data ownership; participation is on an opt-in basis ONLY.
